My Trip

Happy new year!!

I went on a trip in Fukui and Kyoto on 12/30 and 31.
When my family arrived at an inn, the snow didn't lie so much.
Our dinner was buffet-style, so we could take anything we like.
I ate one crab, crab sashimi, sushi (tuna, salmon, squid, shrimp, and Japanese amberjack called "buri") and so on.
It was delicious, and I got full.
My mother and I took a hot spring bath set in the open.
However, it thundered, and lightning flashed bluely.

Next day when I look out a window, it snowed heavily.
In addition, the snow lay on the ground.
My family was going to go to Kyoto.
But the traffic jam was very bad because of a heavy snowfall.
We were going to arrive in Kyoto at noon, but in fact we reached there at 4:30.
My parents thought that we couldn't return to my home.
That's why we could only visit Kitanotenmangu.
I thought that I was not in luck last year because of unlucky year.
I want to go to Kyoto again someday.

My Favorite Holiday

My favorite holiday is New Year's Days.
I can get otoshidama from my parents and relatives.
However, I don't know if I can get it next year, because I do a part-time job.
Special programs are often telecast during the New Year's Days.
I'm happy to watch many TV programs.
I think that this year isn't good for me, so I want to make next year better.

Semester break

During the semester break, I couldn't join University Festival.
In next week of semester break, I had to present for three times.
First, I had to prepare for a debate in basic seminar on Monday.
I examined about death penalty.
Second, I had to prepare for a presentation in OC class on Tuesday.
I thought about what I said in the presentation.
Finally, I had to prepare for a presentation in R2 class on Thursday.
I considered that the scene I should pick up and my favorite scene.
Also, I tried to recite my favorite line.
I was very busy and hard during the semester break.
I want to go to the University Festival next year.

High School Memory

My favorite high school memory is a field day last year.
My high school's field day gets exciting every year.
My high school's folk dance especially so.
In my high school's field day, third-year students could only dance a folk dance.
When I was a first-year student or a second-year student, Iwanted to dance it.
We wrote songs which we want to dance in the paper, and could select a song.
Also, members of athletics thought about the arrangement of a dance.
The song for the field day decided on 'Keshin' sung by Masaharu Fukuyama.
To dance a folk dance was very difficult for me, so I practiced the dance hard with my friends after school.
Our folk dance succeeded, and we received an encore from lower grade students.
I was very happy to join a field day.
This is my favorite high school memory.

Trends in Japan

By about 1 month ago, 'gegege no nyobou' (a serial drama) was telecasted by NHK in Japan.
This drama got a high audience rating.
As a result of this, Sakaiminato in Tottori (Mizuki Shigeru's hometown) has become a tourist spot.
At first, there were few tourists in 'Mizuki Shigeru Road'.
To tell the truth, I have been there once.
In Sakaiminato, there are many places to visit.
Especially, a bakery which bakes bread with Kitaro and his group is nice.
Like this, revitalization of a region is being in fashion in Japan.

In the next 20 years

I think that technology will be more developing in the next 20 years.
For example, medical technology will be able to save more patients' lives than now.
Then, our life will be happier and more useful, for example, music player, furniture etc.
In addition, globalization will progress.
Globalization will closely connect us with foreign people .
However, environment would be destroyed by creating new technology.
I hope that the world will be peaceful in the next 20 years.

Globalization

Globalization means communication with foreign people to me.
English is the common language in globalization.
To communicate with foreign people, I have to master English.


A example of globalization in my life is to teach English to junior high school students or high school students.
It is said that English is important in the entrance exams for the high school or the university.
In addition, I think that English is useful for their future.


Globalization affects me greatly.
I have some foreign manufacture because of trading with foreign countries.
